Operation Christmas Child is a project of Franklin Graham’s “Samaritan’s Purse,” which collects shoebox gifts – filled with school supplies, hygiene items, and fun toys – and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way.  Each shoebox is complete with a 12-week discipleship program where children learn what it means to follow Jesus and share their faith with others.  Our church serves as a drop off center for the surrounding area during the national collection week each November.  Also, each December we enjoy going on a mission trip to Dallas to help process the shoeboxes as they are inspected and packed to be shipped all around the world.  Contact: Church office for more info.
